Since 2022, I began noticing color emerging just beneath the surface of the hand-sewn cloth patches in my series "Textus". This subtle appearance of color was intuitive, almost accidental, yet it hinted at something deeper. In my series "Jabaquara", however, the cloth patches took on a more intentional meaning, tied closely to the context of the project "The House That Valdemar Built". In this work, each piece of fabric came to represent members of Valdemar’s family, transforming material into memory and narrative. Through this experience, I was able to arrive at a distinct color palette—one that now forms the foundation of my most recent series, "Mantas" and "Alojados"
